After successfully transforming the sustainable production and trade model and being certified, the Enterprise will always need to maintain operations and meet the requirements of the standard in an effective and continuous manner. The prescribed certification body will conduct a surveillance assessment to confirm the validity and accept the maintenance of the certificate for the Enterprise.

Maintaining the validity of the certificate is not only to meet the requirements of the standard and the certification organization, but it is also evidence of commitment to customers in operating and developing a sustainable production and trade model according to the applicable standards of the enterprise.

For businesses that have difficulty recruiting technical personnel to maintain certification, CRED experts will support businesses in carrying out the surveillance assessment and certification maintenance process according to the following steps:

The Naturland organic standard is one of the sustainable standards that many agricultural export enterprises to the German market are interested in and want to implement, especially SMEs.

NEDSPICE VIETNAM SPICE PROCESSING COMPANY LIMITED (NEDSPICE) has certified UEBT/RA for the Cinnamon material area with a scale of more than 200 households for a Cinnamon area of about 500 hectares from 2023. NEDSPICE is headquartered in Binh Duong, so the resources for the comprehensive review and updating of capacity for parties in the material area in the North is a difficult and costly issue to implement. By using CRED’s services, farmers, team leaders and material area managers of NEDSPICE have been trained to update and supplement their capacity to operate a sustainable Cinnamon production and business model according to UEBT standards. This has significantly contributed to NEDSPCIE’s preparation for periodic monitoring assessments according to UEBT standards by the certification organizations, UEBT and Preferred by Nature. NEDSPICE completed the periodic assessment in May 2024 and thereby maintained the UEBT/RA certificate for Cinnamon products in Van Yen, Yen Bai. From then on, NEDSPICE continues to maintain its commitment and provide UEBT/RA certified Cinnamon products to customers in the EU market.
