SACHS TEA
SACHS TEA Joint Stock Company was established in 2010 by three friends who shared the same ideal of preserving the tea drinking culture of Vietnamese people, and the desire to bring quality tea leaves to the world. This has motivated SACHS TEA to build an ecology friendly tea areas, in which farmers receive a fair share of benefits. SACHS TEA’s tea is grown on an area of 40 ha in Bang Phuc commune, Cho Don district, Bac Kan province, one of the oldest Shan Tuyet tea areas in the northern mountains of Vietnam. With an altitude of nearly 1000m above sea level, and a favorable climate conditions, SACHS TEA’s tea products are considered to be of high quality and can meet both domestic and export needs. Since its establishment, SACHS TEA has cooperated with Tay and Nung ethnic minority farmers to build the plantation areas that meet USDA-NOP organic standards. Each year, SACHS TEA’s produces about 100 tons/year of fresh tea buds and about 16 tons/year of dry tea.
