The Biotrade team would like to congratulate NedSpice Processing Vietnam Ltd., on achieving UEBT/RA certification for its cinnamon chain in Yen Bai and becoming a member of the Union for Ethical Bio-Trade (UEBT) through the company’s commitment to sourcing with respect for all people and biodiversity.
This is the 5th Vietnamese company to become a member of UEBT and achieve UEBT/RA certification after of Vinasamex, Truong Giang Spice, Son Ha Spice & Flavoring Co.,Ltd and Duc Phu Forestry Jsc. All of aboved companies are supported by the Biotrade project to progress towards UEBT/RA certification. The fact that more and more Vietnamese companies are committed to sourcing on the basis with respect people and biodiversity is proven to the efforts of Biotrade businesses and team in sustainable agriculture, for people and enviroment.
The Regional Biotrade SECO phase 2 is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and co-implemented by Center for Rural Economy Development – CRED and Helvetas in Vietnam from 2020.
