After 8 years implemented, Biotrade has evolved significantly in the four countries: Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. The number of ethically sourced value chains has increased from three to 32 encompassing products such as tea, cinnamon, cashew, benzoin and other biodiversity-based products. The accumulated trade volume has reached more than 195 million USD and the number of involved companies has grown to 78. Vietnam, in particular, has become a vibrant hub for Biotrade fostering a diverse ecosystem of Business Support Organizations.
